Common Milkweed - Intermediate Brazilian Dimensional Embroidery, Rayon Threads, Class and Kit
How pretty is the Common Milkweed? It should be named the Marvelous Milkweed! It’s beautiful and attracts Monarch caterpillars and butterflies. The color of the flower varies, depending upon the soil, so you can choose your own shade of white or pink. This design features a padded main stem, a wrapped stem, bead buds, and flowers made with short double cast-on drizzles. The caterpillar is made with a stumpwork technique using black felt and bullion stitches.
